Why
did you decide to enrol on the course? I was looking for a way to work from home, while still using my writing skills. Freelancing for newspapers and magazines really doesn't pay much, and wouldn't use my graphic skills either. Copywriting seemed to be a perfect fit. Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling? Not really - only because I was having some trouble with enrolling online. What was your impression of your course when it arrived? I was amazed. The binder and all of the extra materials were nicely put together. Did you consider any other courses? Yes, but they are in a different direction, such as web design. Ultimately, what do you want to do? I want a job where I can work at home, so that I'm there for my son, and can take on jobs as needed/wanted. What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course? You need to be a writer, or at least interested in writing. You also need to have a creative side to you and be able to picture a whole project in your mind. Copywriting is not for everyone, but can be a very enjoyable option for those who are skilled. Is there anything you'd
like to ad? Copywriting is hard work, but it can be fun and rewarding at the same time |
