Why did you decide to enrol on the course?
I wanted to learn how to write concisely and effectively. the course itself looked pretty comprehensive and I liked the fact that there wasn't any time limits. Also a friend had just enrolled and we decided to do it together.

Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling?
No
What was your impression of your course when it arrived?
I was impressed, and I liked the friendly/chatty nature of the material. I was a bit concerned as the material has a US bias and I wasn't sure if I would be able to write for that market, being an uptight Brit... I seem to be doing ok though. [We also have a UK and European edition - Ed]

Did you consider any other courses?
No
Ultimately, what do you want to do?
Make a living by writing, whether copywriting or otherwise.
How are you progressing with your course?
Have stalled abit around assessment 4 due to a v busy personal schedule. Definitely will be taking it up again once things settle down. I appreciate the course emails, they keep reminding me that I have the course to get back to!

What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?
Do it, but remember that you will only get out of it what you put in. Like most things I suppose!
