Why did you decide
to enrol on the course? I wanted to utilise my writing skills to enable me to work from home. I decided to study for the Institute's diploma because I knew it was a bona fide organisation and I wanted a recognisable certificate. Although it is true that one can set up as a copywriter without such a qualification I felt that I would benefit from undertaking the course - and I have. Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling? No. I had already heard of the Institute, visited the website, etc. What was your impression of your course when it arrived? Extremely good. It was neat, compact and no-nonsense. Did you consider any other courses? Not for copywriting. Ultimately, what do you want to do? Work from home as a copywriter and copyeditor. How are you progressing with your course? Very well, but slowly. This is purely because I am recovering from a quite lengthy illness and also freelancing in marketing and proofreading. I have received some very good, constructive feedback from my tutor. I thoroughly enjoy the course and am learning a lot. What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course? Satisfy yourself that you are self-disciplined, organised, have a good command of English and love writing. Is there anything else
you’d like to add? I think it is a super course
and well worth the investment. You receive good support and sound, practical
advice. |
