While I have journalism experience and training, I never had formal training as a copywriter. I started a copywriting business three years ago and have been learning on the job so far, until now. I also wanted to be able to have my capabilities as a copywriter measured by professional people and not just clients.

I was delighted with the course material I received. I didn’t really expect such serious course material. I loved the book and the handbook was really helpful.

I have already incorporated some of the tips I learned into my work. Since I have a copywriting business I want to continually improve and train my colleagues and myself through such courses.

I would encourage them because the feedback given is very valuable. If anyone wanted to become a copywriter, this would be a great way to start. If he or she is already a copywriter, then it would be a great way to learn a few tips or see how he or she measures.

What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?

The instructor I had was always available and answered my questions quickly and with a lot of explanation. Also the notes I received with each assignment were very valuable because the instructor would site examples and show me different ways I might have written a particular sentence or idea. I learned a lot from him.
