Why did you decide to enrol on the course? I decided a home study course was the only way to get the experience and help I wanted and this course seemed genuine and more helpful to students with after course help than others I'd looked at. Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling? No - I just dived in. What was your impression of your course when it arrived? It seemed quite exciting - the folder and case were little extras that made it look more professional. The message from the tutor was laid back and I felt that it would offer me the help I needed Did you consider any other courses? I looked at a couple of other internet based courses and one other distance learning - this seemed best value and professional. Ultimately, what do you want to do? I think I want to look at freelancing but I'm also considering something like marketing or some sort of writing for longer pieces, local government etc. What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course? I think I'm doing pretty well, it's easy to get through and the assignments are more fun than you might imagine. Is there anything else you'd like to add? Go for it - you can fit it into your life. I have a full time job, a normal social life and I'm planning my wedding and still have time for it. It's rewarding to get the assignments back and know you've done well. Any feedback is constructive without being patronising or ridiculing you. |
