| Case Studies - Diploma in Life
Coaching |

Why did you enrol on the course?
I wanted to further
my life coaching studies and get accreditation
Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling?
Apart from really reading
the website thoroughly, no.
What was your impression of the course when it arrived?
I was quite impressed
with the bulk of the folder and the pack. I liked the idea of
having a personal tutor and the coaching buddy system.
Did you consider any other courses?
I looked into Co-Active
coaching, but thought it seemed very expensive.
Ultimately, what do you want to do?
I want to life coach
full time, specialising in small businesses and also coaching
for young people.
What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?
It is a very good basic
course, but in order to hone your skills and decide the type
of coach you want to be, you need to read other coaching books.
One good thing is being able
to work at your own pace. I went very slowly at first, but got more and
more enthused by coaching as I went along. The practical assignments
really help.
