| Case Studies - Diploma in Life
Coaching |
Stella Collins, Leicestershire, UK
Why did you enrol on the course?
I had been coaching
for some time and wanted to consolidate my existing skills and
get a recognised qualification.
Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling?
To ask for more information.
Did you consider any other courses?
Yes. Others were too
costly or over in America or required phone contact. I just
wanted to get on with it and do it at my own pace.
Ultimately, what do you want to do?
Lots of diferent things
freelance. Life coaching will be part of the portfolio.
What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?
I would say do it although
I think you need quite a lot of prior experience. I think the
course tests your current knowlege as doesnt include enough
examples of what to practically do just tells you what areas
you can cover.
I think it consolidates skills
learnt. Could include more examples of exercises to do with
various population groups. [Good point, Stella. I've asked our development
team to investigate this - Kit]
Is there anything else
you'd like to add?
Some slight technical blips with communication along the way which
slightly put me back.
Brilliant, have enjoyed it and feel I have a great tutor for guidance
and he always gets back to me ASAP with great feedback.
