Doug
Harvey, Northampton, UK

Why did you enrol on the course?
I consider myself a
people person. From time to time, I seem to have friends that
confide in me or simply chat with me over personal/other issues
in their lives. Sometimes seeking help, sometimes simply wanting
to talk things through - and I love being there for people,
so it works for me. At present I am a Systems Manager and wanted
a second string to my bow.
Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling?
Yes, to ask various
questions. One particular one was concerned with the cost being
lower than a lot of others. The explanation was simple enough
- namely that others tended to include seminars and suchlike
that tended to push the cost up.
Did you consider any other courses?
Just about every one
I could find!
Ultimately, what do you want to do?
To become full time
life coach - possibly specialising in personal or relationship
issues. It is too soon to make that decision yet.
What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?
Do loads of research
on the net first. Gather as much material together from as many
sources as possible and read it. This will give a good feel
for the life coaching industry and whether or not you might
like to get involved. With that under your belt, sign up for
the course. The guarantee covers you at both ends. What have
you got to lose?
Is there anything else
you'd like to add?
By the time you read this, I
may well be qualified and may find a niche as a Life Coach mentor!
