Why did you enrol on the course?
I have been interested
in Life Coaching for some time before finding this course. The
different & diverse subjects covered in the modules looked
very interesting which was why I decided to go for this course.
Also, I wanted a formal qualification to reflect my interest.
Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling?
No. I was convinced
by the detail on the website.
What was your impression of the course when it arrived?
To be honest, it did
not look as indepth as I expected it to be - for the money.
I also already had the Fiona Harrold Life Coaching book. However,
the assignments looked good and I wanted the qualification,
so I was determined to carry on.
Did you consider any other courses?
Yes. I looked at the
Life Coaching Academy but the cost of the course was way too
high. I liked the idea of the initial face-to-face workshop
though, although that is what pushed the price up.
Ultimately, what do you want to do?
I have already started
using Coaching in the workplace and getting people to look at
all aspects of their life. It is amazing how many people ask
for advice once they know that you are studying Life Coaching.
I am also setting up my own website and am looking to have Life
Coaching as a second occupation.
What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?
Completing this course
will help anyone who is interested in Coaching. The modules
are not complicated, although as with anything, to achieve a
good grade you should be prepared to put in the time and effort,
and complete additional reading. Distance learning also requires
some dedication so be prepared to put aside the time to complete
the course.
