I was recently made redundant from my career in banking and I decided to have a career change. I have always enjoyed organising events and saw this opportunity to start my own events organising business.

What was your impression of the course when it arrived?
Very informative, from basic detail of how to take a telephone call from a potential client to more in depth details on how to write a contract. All the information on the course was relevant and very interesting. The self assessment questions were also beneficial as you could gauge your own understanding of the section topic before completing the essay.

I have recently begun the fundraising diploma, and calligraphy course.
Ultimately, what do you want to do?
I want to set up my own events company.
What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?
I would recommend this course to anyone who will be involved in any aspect of event planning, hosting or organising. If you have experience in this field then I am sure you will benefit from the tips included in the course and if you have no experience then this course will ensure that you have all the tools needed to complete the course. One of the biggest advantages of this course was I could study when I wanted and I had comprehensive feedback from my tutor.
