I’ve always had a very big interest in Event Planning, especially Weddings and corporate functions. I have chosen this course because I’m working full time, and this will allow me to be able to study and complete my course in my own time that suited me perfectly.
Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling?
Yes I did. I contacted them to get more information. They were very friendly and helpful.
What was your impression of the course when it arrived?
It arrived quickly, and everything I needed to start my course was included. I was very pleased with it, and like the fact that you receive all your study material at once instead of bit by bit.
Did you consider any other courses?
Not at the time when I enrolled for the Event Planning course, but after completing my course I'm looking at perhaps doing the Interior Design course also.
Ultimately, what do you want to do?
I would like to be a full time Wedding Planner, and also do large Corporate Functions through my own company.
What might you say to someone who is thinking of enrolling on the course?
This is an excellent course for someone to take that's got an interest in Event Planning. Either to do it on the side, or to start your own Business in future. The study material is very well laid out and easy to follow, with Assignments that's fun to do through which you learn even more. You might be worried of doing this on your own, without help, but you've got a dedicated tutor whom you can contact at any time to help you when you've got questions.
What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?
I would like to thank my Tutor - Jane Shaw who is just fantastic! Always responded with the marked assignments within a day. She always gave excellent advise and helped me throughout my course every step of the way.
