Jo Morgan

Jo began her career in event management over 20 years ago. During that time she has managed a wide variety of events – sometimes as part of a team and sometimes single-handed.

She started her career organising press screenings for an independent film company and then moved on to promotional PR launches. After that she worked on shipping conferences and exhibitions around the world attracting over 2000 delegates.

Later in her career, Jo went back to working in the film and TV industry and organised for televised awards evenings, events with BAFTA, exhibitions and small workshops for TV industry professionals.

Nowadays Jo works with a number of professional associations organising regional events for members, conferences, exhibitions and networking meetings.

Debbie Diggle

Debbie runs her own event planning business, Simchas With Style, as well as a wedding planning business, Wedding Wonders.

In the last 6 years she has planned more than 60 events, including a Centenary Ball for 400 people at a local golf club, christenings for three couples whose weddings I had previously planned, two Barmitzvahs and two Batmitzvahs.

Wedding Wonders are proud members of the Association of Bridal Consultants which is only offered to established businesses with a proven track record supported by client references.

Carolyn Acton

Carolyn runs her own event and wedding planning company. She has made a name for herself in Leicester by organising events and weddings, and brides throughout the country have seen her name in wedding magazines.

Before she set up her own company she was employed by De Vere Hotels as their Special Events Manager at Belton Woods Hotel in Grantham. It was there that she received all her training in event management. She was responsible for organising the conferences, meetings, Christmas parties, weddings, team building days etc at the hotel.

Paulette Teksir

Paulette has worked in the hotel industry for almost 30 years. She started off by working in hotel reception and reservations and after a few years into her career she decided to specialise in conference and banqueting.

In the latter years she has concentrated on the event planning side of the business, working for international hotel chains.
