Why did you enrol on the course?

I've been very interested in garden design for many years and was presented with the opportunity to take time out from my regular work as an artist.

Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling?

Yes, I asked if I could contact ex-students to ask their opinions of the course. The Institute emailed me a list of them.

What was your impression of the course when it arrived?

Fine - all intact.

Did you consider any other courses?

I looked at a few others but ultimately wanted to cover the whole business of working as a Garden Designer and to achieve a qualification.

Ultimately, what do you want to do?

Combine my work as an artist with some aspects of Garden Design i.e. I want to do both things in parallel!

What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?

You need a good knowledge of plants and some horticultural knowledge as well - but go for it.
