I decided to enrol on the course to gain a qualification in garden design.
Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling?
I didn't make any contact with the institute before enrolling as I felt I had all the information I needed from the very comprehensive website which answered all my questions plus there was a money back guarantee if not satisfied with the course materials.
What was your impression of the course when it arrived?
My impression of the course when it arrived was that I thought it was excellent and covered everything I expected it to and more. It is well set out and the workbook helps to set you up for the assignments which follow the modules. A quality course.
Did you consider any other courses?
I didn't really consider any other courses although I had looked at a few others but thought this one was the best
Ultimately, what do you want to do?
Ultimately I want to have my own garden design business and perhaps become a tutor for the institute.
How are you progressing with your course?
I feel I am progressing very well so far with the course. I have been attaining good grades and my tutor is excellent with her feedback and encouragement. I would like to add that I think the idea of being able to progress through the course at your own pace is an excellent idea and that the emails from the institute regarding people asking for free design advice is a good idea - I did one for a lady in Florida who seemed very pleased - it is real life experience which is invaluable. The people at the institute seem very friendly and helpful and are always there for any questions or queries.
What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?
I would encourage anyone thinking of taking the course to go for it. It is very interesting and most enjoyable.
