Garden Design & Landscaping Study Courses
Blackford Centre for Garden Design
I have yet to be drawn into the 21st century through websites etc. Word of mouth keeps my clients local. I do you social media though to promote my business i.e. twitter & LinkedIn but this again is more marketing than real bread and butter work.
My business is unique in that I deliver the full package from concept design with great after sales i.e. maintenance and advice etc. Like most garden designers in the real world I work from home with no swanky London office bearing huge overheads Perhaps in time!!?
I was initially drawn to the Diploma in Garden Design offered by the Blackford Centre as your course comes with the freedom to work from home at my own pace.
This relaxed me to learn on my own terms. Choosing to push myself under my own steam meant that I experienced a greater reward on finishing each module successfully.
In business you need to have the same mentality on which you only get out what you put in.
On receiving my diploma in garden design meant that I had established a better footing in my career path. Without the wording you are just merely a person who isn’t taken seriously within your field.
I totally enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone wishing to pursue there dreams in life.

As one reviewer said it is ‘A lovely little tale of gardening woes, trials and triumphs, with a good dose of magic thrown in for good measure.’
