Why did you decide to enrol on the course?

I decided to enrol on the course because I wanted to stretch my knowledge a little further on helping people, and I have always been good at listening and helping out with people's problems in the past, so at least now I get a recognised certificate to help in more depth.

Did you make any contact with the Institute before enrolling?

I contacted them to ask about their courses, and chose to do the Counselling Course.

What was your impression of your course when it arrived?

I was really excited as there was so much detail and many assignments to do, and you had to interact with people which I thought was fantastic as you are having to put your learning skills to practice!

Did you consider any other courses?

I have my eye on a couple of others, and I more than likely will take up another course soon.

Ultimately, what do you want to do?

I want to be able to do that little extra for people who are a little wary of alternative therapies. Having my counselling training has enabled me to offer more resources other than what I already offer.

What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?

I would advise them to think wisely, if it is what they really want to do, then just go for it!

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

It has been a wonderful experience and a lot of time, patience and practice has gone into the course work which I find fabulous as you make people go out for their knowledge and to experience what it is like to be involved with people's emotional private side of life and life's problems.
