Why did you decide to enrol on the course?

I was looking to improve my skills as a technical author and found that there was no course locally – in South Africa. Hence, I decided to go the distance learning route and found the Institute of Technical Writing to be the most promising offer.

I sent one or two emails for clarity on some issues that I had.

It was well packaged and organised. The time taken to get going was very short.

Not really, as mentioned the options were few and far between.

I’m currently involved in copywriting and may decide to branch into technical writing.

What might you say to someone who was thinking of enrolling on the course?

Like most courses, what you put in is what you get out.
